Brett Farr

I am the Director of Fine Arts in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. I am beginning my 6th year in this position. Prior to becoming the DFA in CFB, I was an assistant principal and choral director in Lamesa and Lubbock, Texas for 26 years. My wife and I love to walk and spend time with our family. Our first grandchild is due in October. Various works have meant more to me at different times in my life, but one of my favorites is Morten Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium. Hand’s down, my favorite book is the Bible. I find something new and valuable every time I read it. Other than being an avid walker one of my hidden talents is the game of ping pong. I started playing back in college and enjoyed the speed of the game. I have also been a member of a gospel quartet for much of my adult life. We had the blessing of sharing our music with thousands of people across the nation.
